Cooks - Duties of the cooks are limited to preparation of a few basic items and normally involve operating large-volume single-purpose cooking equipment.
Prep Cooks - To efficiently process and complete needed steps in the food prep area. To clean working area and other kitchen areas as defined by the supervisors. To uphold the standards of guests relations with friendliness and cleanliness as lined out by Food & Beverage Department.
Deli Workers - Assists with ordering, receiving, stocking and display of deli product and prepares fresh juice and coffee-bar beverages as needed, maintains department cleanliness, and provides customer service. Prepares espresso bar and fresh juice bar products as needed. Cleans and stocks deli cases according to procedure, utilizing proper signage. Maintains working knowledge of Deli recipes and prepared foods.
Utility - Cleans, mops, sweeps and dusts kitchen facilities. Requisitions supplies from stockroom; receives, stores and distributes supplies. Cleans, washes and polishes equipment. Changes light bulbs, stacks and arranges chairs and does other miscellaneous jobs. Makes minor repairs on equipment and facilities. Removes dishes from dish machine and stores them. Occasionally prepares simple foods. Occasionally decorates for special events. Launders rags and aprons as needed. Makes deliveries and pick-ups for catering functions.
Dishwasher - Clean dishes, kitchen, food preparation equipment, or utensils.
Floater - To assist in various capacities, including food preparation in a food service operation.Kitchen Helper and Custodian. Food Preparation Specialist. Reads and interprets menu and follows recipes. Checks and maintains quantity and quality of food. Prepares food. Stocks kitchen; checks food for freshness where appropriate. Operates and cleans kitchen equipment. Maintains kitchen sanitation and safety. Other related duties as assigned by management.
Short Order Cook - Prepare and cook to order a variety of foods that require only a short preparation time. May take orders from customers and serve patrons at counters or tables. Complete orders from steam tables, placing food on plates and serving customers at tables or counters. Grill and garnish hamburgers or other meats such as steaks and chops. Plan work on orders so that items served together are finished at the same time.
Line Cashier – Take payment in exchange for the customers orders.
Pizza Maker - Prepare and cook to order a variety of foods that require only a short preparation time. May take orders from customers and serve patrons at counters or tables. Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas. Clean food preparations areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils. Operate large-volume of cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles. Prepare specialty foods such as pizzas, bread sticks, sandwiches, following specific methods that usually require short preparation time.
Grill Cook - A grill cook is a type of chef that specializes in preparing all types of grilled foods. Most often works with meat, can also involve working with a wide variety other foods and vegetables. In some cases, a grill cook may work exclusively on the grill station in a standard kitchen that serves a wide variety of foods prepared in many different ways.
